"MEASURE FOR MEASURE" April 29th-May 2nd: Last Shakespeare at Love Creek Show
|
|
PRODUCTION FOUR
MACBETH
One of the greatest and most difficult of Shakespeare's tragedies, "Macbeth" contains some of Shakespeare's most powerful
and expressive poetry, together with remorseless acts of cruelty, black humor, and a confidently chilling evocation of the
supernatural. Our "Macbeth" was graced with powerful performances and a hair-raising climactic broadsword fight,
choreographed by SaLC Fight Director (and Macduff) Matt Klan. It was produced in modern dress in front of a stark castle
facade, and including the often-omitted Hecate scenes.
"Macbeth" ran from August 30-September 15 2002 at The Sargent Theatre.
