"MEASURE FOR MEASURE" April 29th-May 2nd: Last Shakespeare at Love Creek Show

PRODUCTION THREE
MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
The delicious romantic comedy "Much Ado About Nothing" invites invention: Kenneth Brannagh set it in and around a gorgeous villa in Tuscany, The New York Shakespeare Festival's production was in America at the time of the Spanish-American War. Our "Much Ado" was set, as per Shakespeare, in Messina, but in the 1920's: martini's were mixed, the Charleston was danced. And a good time was had by all: the production was cited by OOBR (the Off-Off-Broadway Review) as one of the Outstanding Productions of the season.
"Much Ado About Nothing" was performed at The Beckmann Theatre from April 25-May 5 2002.
